I'm such a bitch

Wow.. I haven't posted anything in a very long time and I'm sorry. I really am. I just wish I had the time to post every single day... However, the last couple of weeks, it hasn't been like that. My days consist of going to school, doing my homework, practising for my dancing performances, talking to my boyfriend by Skype, reading and going to bed. Every single day (well, except for the weekends). I just wish I could finish school right now and start doing something useful. You know, for some reason I really have this feeling that most of my classes at school are so bloody useless. It doesn't really motivate me.
I kind of promised I'd post a photo of me and my boyfriend like, 9 months ago. So a couple of days ago I came to think of it and I thought I actually should post a photo of us together.
We've been together for 11 months now and we're both still very happy :).



Don't know when I'll be back to post things on my blog.. We'll see.

Lack of posts

I'm so sorry for my lack of posts lately, but I simply can't help it! I've got loads of things to do.. The past couple of weeks have been quite hectic and busy, so blogging just wasn't part of my weekly routine. However, I've got loads of stuff to tell you; I went to London and Greece in the last couple of weeks and I'll tell you all about it!
Just came back from Greece (went there on a trip for school) and in some time from now I'm going to have dinner and my boyfriend is going to arrive, so I'll talk to you soon (I won't promise anything though ^^).

Miss Mime's in love

As I've told you about before, I often make things for the subject ''art'' I follow at school. And this term we had an assignment about lots of different art movements. I've never been really good at painting or drawing or what so ever and that's why I decided to make photos for this assignment.. Expressionistic pictures!
My idea was to choose 4 emotions: happiness, anger, sadness and confusion, and to make the model (my not so little sister Sophie) express every single emotion with her face. But that's not all.. I also wanted all four emotions to be expressed by the make up on her face.
So: 8 pictures of four different emotions, shown in two different ways.
When I was working on the whole concept I just happened to think that those emotions actually suited what people feel when they're in a relationship. (not based on personal experiences: me and my boyfriend are really happy ^^) So that explains the name: Miss Mime's in love.

Oh and you're all probably wondering why she's wearing such funny make up: my sister came up with the idea of photographing herself as a mime player some time ago and that also inspired me quite a lot.

The first one's the one where Sophie's face is supposed to ''make'' the emotions and the second one's where the make up is supposed to make the emotions.

What lingerie should always be like...

For some reason I always find a reason not to do my maths homework. Today it was because I discovered the most amazing lingerie brand ever! Gosh... I really am impressed!

Not only is Chantal Thomass's lingerie belle, her photos are also just perfect. The models are so cute; I simply love the paleness of their skin, their red lip stick and of course their haircuts are amazing (hihi).

Why the hell are Louboutins so pricey? They'd make a great investment though... Hmmm.. I'm going to Berlin next summer, maybe I should buy a pair of Louboutins over there.

Pin up dresses

I've been getting more and more obsessed with 50s dresses ever since I bought this Bettie Page dress in Antwerp some time and ago. And another couple of weeks ago I bought a 50s dress on ilovevintage.nl and it's just so perfect for spring and summer!

I found this website a couple of weeks ago when I was at school (and when I was supposed to be doing some homework... hmm) and these are my two favourite dresses. Aren't they just to die for?

My new ''Captain'' dress

I was watching the last Gossip Girl episode of the first season (I kind of stopped watching it on TV because I didn't have the time and then I got the first season on DVD for my birthday and we've been watching it for a couple of weeks now) and guess what I saw? Leighton Meester, also known as Blair Waldorf, was wearing a dress I bought a couple of weeks ago. And mine isn't a copy, it's the exact same dress. How weird is that? Especially because this other time I was watching GG and Blair was wearing a couple of shoes I own as well.. Freaky. And kind of cool at the same time!
